October 23, 2008

Australia's BeatTV conducted an interview with DOWN/ex-PANTERA vocalist Philip Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown during DOWN's recent visit to the country. Watch the eight-minute chat below.

"N.O.D.", the new video from DOWN, can be viewed below. The track comes off the group's latest album, "Over the Under", which was released on September 25, 2007 through ILG/Warner Music Group (one day earlier internationally via Roadrunner Records). The LP was issued in Europe as a limited-edition digipack CD featuring the bonus track "Invest in Fear".

DOWN kicked off its North American tour as the support act for METALLICA Tuesday night (October 21) at the Jobing Arena in Glendale, Arizona. Check out photos of DOWN and METALLICA's performances at Downboard.com.

DOWN last week released a "deluxe edition" of "Over the Under". The deluxe package, which was made available as a Best Buy exclusive, includes a DVD with over 30 minutes of previously unreleased live performances and behind-the-scenes footage. The album was released on Down Records in conjunction with Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group (ILG).

Philip Anselmo (ex-PANTERA) revealed in a recent online post that DOWN has recorded at least six new songs for a possible new CD which may also include previously unreleased material from the "Over the Under" sessions.
